Hunting and Fishing Mentorships
Matt Schmidt Outdoors accepts applications from young people each year who are interested in pursuing a menteeship in either hunting or fishing. We pair the selected individuals with mentors who are knowledgeable about hunting or fishing and outfit them with all that they will need to be successful in the field. This is a huge undertaking and serves as the heart of our work when we are not organizing our annual ice fishing weekend. We are proud of what our young people have accomplished so far in the field. We feel that there is no better way to honor Matt's memory than by using money raised in his name to provide experiences to young individuals who might not otherwise be able to access them.
Matt Schmidt Outdoors Annual Scholarship
Matt Schmidt Outdoors (MSO) was founded in 2020 with the purpose of supporting young people and specifically working to get them outdoors.
